The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), alongside project partners, have invited qualified consultants to serve as assessors for the National Youth Agribusiness Innovation Contest.
The opportunity is for experienced professionals who can review and grade applications submitted by young people participating in the agribusiness innovation contest. Assessors will help identify and shortlist promising projects with the potential to contribute to the growth and sustainability of agribusiness and the agro-allied value chain.
The organisers are seeking individuals with strong backgrounds in agribusiness, finance or related fields. Applicants should possess sound critical-thinking skills and be able to analyse proposals carefully, assess their potential and provide constructive feedback.
Selected assessors will contribute to a fair and thorough evaluation process, helping the organisers identify innovative projects with meaningful potential. The role also offers opportunities to connect with other professionals, exchange insights and learn about emerging developments in agribusiness innovation.
What is the commitment?
According to the recruitment poster, assessors should be able to dedicate up to 50 hours over five days to reviewing and assessing participants’ submissions. The work will be conducted online, allowing selected reviewers to carry out the assessment remotely.
There will be an appreciation gift pack and a recognition certificate for assessors.
Interested professionals should review the requirements carefully and confirm whether the opportunity is still accepting applications before submitting their details.
