Distribution and data capture for the 2026 Fintiri Business Wallet programme has officially commenced across the 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa State, with authorities issuing fresh guidelines for intending beneficiaries.
The Technical Officer of SATLINK, Mallam Nuhu, disclosed on Sunday that each Local Government Area received 2,000 forms carrying the photograph of the respective council chairman, and such forms must only be captured within the LGA they were assigned to.
Nuhu made this known during a meeting with officials of the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) and adhoc staff participating in the Fintiri Business Wallet Data Capture exercise.
According to him, the system has been configured to reject any attempt to capture forms outside their designated Local Government Areas.
“The forms allocated to each LGA cannot be used outside the assigned council area. Any attempt to capture them elsewhere will be unsuccessful because the system will automatically reject them,” he said.
He however clarified that forms bearing the photograph of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri are different, noting that beneficiaries with such forms can complete their data capture in any Local Government Area of their choice within the state.
The clarification comes amid growing interest in the Fintiri Business Wallet programme, which is designed to support residents through business and empowerment initiatives coordinated by the state government.
Authorities advised all intending beneficiaries to ensure they complete their registration and data capture strictly within the Local Government Area attached to their forms to avoid disqualification or failed submission.
The notice was issued through the Media and Information Unit of PAWECA as distribution continues across Adamawa State.
