In a major step to support education in Nigeria, the Danbaturia Foundation has announced a new scholarship opportunity for the 2024/2025 academic session at the Sardauna Memorial Center, College of Health Science and Technology. This move supports students in the healthcare education sector and aims to reduce the cost of medical training in Nigeria.
According to the Foundation, “300 students from Kaduna Central will benefit from this initiative,” with each student receiving up to 80% tuition support. This scholarship targets young Nigerians who want to study medical laboratory technology, public health, pharmacy technician training, and other healthcare programs.
The list of available programs includes:
- National Diploma in Community Health (CHEW)
- Certificate in Community Health (CHEW)
- National Diploma in Pharmacy Technician
- National Diploma in Public Health Nursing
- National Diploma in X-Ray and Imaging
- Certificate in Auxiliary Nursing
- National Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician
- Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technician
There are also Higher National Diploma (HND) options available, which come with NYSC eligibility.
